Working in Los Angeles and Kansas City, I learned much during a long career in commercial photography, where the images were deliberate productions. My passion for photography continues but in a different direction, opting for more spontaneity, working with whatever I find interesting as subject matter in my travels and other explorations 

From the tallgrass of the Kansas Flint Hills to the sands of the Sahara, or the streets of New York to the back alleys of old Marrakesh, I strive to create engaging photography, telling stories in single frames that strike a chord of relevance and connection, leaving the viewer with a sense of what I felt when creating it. Working in color or black and white, I like to think of my work beyond genre, more unbound, contemporary, yet timeless.
